Ariana D. Den Bleyker is now offering authors private consultation for poetry chapbooks and collections and short story collections prior to submission for publication. She can provide a close reading and assessment of the manuscript, including line by line edits and strategies on effective organization, as well as suggestions on how to make the manuscript successful in today’s literary environment. Ariana D. Den Bleyker brings years of experience as a writer, editor, and small press publisher to the shaping of manuscripts at various stages of their development.
Over the years, she has been the editor of several literary journals of varying styles and foci in addition to serving as owner and editor of ELJ Editions, Ltd., acquiring and editing up to 20 titles per year. Her experience has allowed her to develop practical skills in the art and business of recognizing solid manuscripts and editing and publishing those that show promise. In addition to her editing and publishing skills, she has authored fifteen poetry chapbooks, three poetry collections, a novelette, creative memoir, and several genre novellas.
